The New Jersey Real Estate Commission in the Department of Banking and Insurance proposed all Brokers and active agents complete 12 hours of Continuing education courses, which should include, 2 hours of Ethics, 4 hours of Core, 1 hour of Fair Housing and the remainder 5 can be additional Core credits or Elective credits. This is to be done every 2 years. (odd years) Ex: 2021, 2023, 2025, etc.

NJ Real estate CE Requirement
- The next Deadline to complete the CE Requirement is April 30, 2021.
- Renewal Date: Every 2 years by April 30* *The NJ Real Estate Commission charges a processing fee for licensees who do not complete their CE requirement prior to April 30 of the second year of a biennial license term.

- Anyone licensed after July 1, 2020 DOES NOT have to complete CE Courses but Must Renew license.
